You probably NEVER heard a sermon about this sin…

And yet, it was considered to be in the same family as “sexual immorality, idol worship and the “BIG” ones” most preachers screech out at people.

But I don’t hear any one talking about it…

It is offensive to God… and especially coming from a Christian.

Maybe if I pray enough… I’ll be worthy.

Maybe if I tithe enough… God will open the “windows of heaven” for me…

Maybe if I work harder to “be good” and do good… I’ll be healed.

Maybe if I fast longer God will… answer my prayers more.

And on and on the “false teachings” go.

God’s provisions are not obtained by any of these “methods.”

It’s ALL about Jesus. When a believer keeps his eyes on Jesus and nothing else… his world changes.

If you’ve been a Christian for any time, you probably know Hebrews 11:1… “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Children have faith, and are often used as examples of faith. LUKE 18:17 “Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.”

What does that mean? Let me tell you what it means…. NOT having this kind of faith, is the very thing that breaks the heart of God. The only thing that made Jesus weep.

It seems simple enough. “Of course, I knew that already”…

But, did you know that when you try and enforce your will on another, you’re “walking in fear” also?

Christians have been called to “walk in love.” What does that really mean? Does it mean that we’re suppose to give everyone a “kiss kiss, Palm Beach hug and smile?”

All the Apostles spent time communicating what it means, but two Apostles spent a lot of time explaining it… (And one of them was His “half brother” James.)

If you’ve been a Christian for a while now, you have most likely been taught, that you must read your Bible so that your “faith will grow.” Right?

WRONG! That is not the “source of faith” and I will prove it to you in this podcast. What you’ve been taught, even by well intentioned preachers, is not scriptural.

Learn the “truth” and it will set you free!!!

Do you have people around you who have no faith? Most of us do. If you’re a believer and you’re trusting God for anything… sometimes, you have to say what Jesus said to them.

The people that “attributed” little or nothing to His deity, got exactly that… Little to Nothing!

By “devaluing” the Son of the Living God, you’ll get what the people in His neighborhood received…

Mat 13:55  This is the builder’s son, isn’t it? His mother is named Mary, isn’t she? His brothers are James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas, aren’t they?
Mat 13:56  And his sisters are all with us, aren’t they? So where did this man get all these things?”
Mat 13:57  And they were offended by him. But Jesus told them, “A prophet is without honor only in his hometown and in his own home.”
Mat 13:58  He did not perform many miracles there because of their unbelief.

Don’t see Him like His neighbors did… see Him for who He really is… the Son of the Living God.
