Hopelessly Confused

I live in a state that is being affected by the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and there’s no better illustration of “pollution” than this situation.
The waters in the Gulf were once, some of the most beautiful waters anywhere in America. Will they ever be the same in our life time?
In the same way, when a Christian allows the “mindset” of the world to affect their right thinking, they become “polluted” too.

Calm Before The Storm

Have you ever been in a storm like a tornado or hurricane? In the center of the most powerful storms, there is what is called the “eye.”
In this center of the storm, there is quiet and a stillness. But right on the other side as the other part approaches, the awesome destructive part follows.
Protection from the devastating effects are what everyone seeks shelter for… And the wise, seek shelter.
Ignoring the warning signs would be like running headlong into the storm. Only a fool would do it, but how many people in this world have done the same thing with their lives and eternal souls?

In this last part of The Dark Deception, we talk about the other ways that saints give more glory to the enemy, than to the very God who redeemed them from hell, death and the grave.
If we name the Name of Jesus, let’s stop being fooled by the enemy of our souls, and let’s “throw off” fallacies about the Word and God’s will that we learned wrongly, through false teachings or false doctrines and live for Him from now on!

No Vapor In Heaven

Our lives are so temporal… they are very short in length compared with forever.
The apostle James said, “Our lives are like a vapor… they’re like the morning dew.” Doesn’t last long at all….
Well, the opposite is true with “eternal” things. There is NO vapor in heaven…
So, since our lives are so brief, how should we think and live this short life? Jesus said to “build.”

Father Of Faith

Where did it all start? Was it in the Garden of Eden?
Well, that’s where the creation of man started, but that’s not where it started for us.
For a Christian, it started in Mesopotamia and a man called Abram. (Later Abraham)
The mystery was revealed thousands of years before Jesus came as a human being.
God showed His “true colors” early on in the history of mankind. Unfortunately, most people
still miss it altogether today.

In The Will

“My people are undone because they don’t really know Me…
I left my will for them so they would know what I’ve provided, but they haven’t read it yet.”
This is what I hear God saying to His people. Christians… Saved people… Believers…
Just like an earthly will or last will and testament, you would need a lawyer or representative of the court to tell you what was in it for you…
But some believers never met with that lawyer or representative yet, and still haven’t made an appointment…
Being a Christian is MUCH more than having “a ticket punched for the air ride to heaven.”
