Question For You

Religion CrucifiedHas anyone ever told you that God loves you and that He has a wonderful plan for your life? I have a real quick, but important question to ask you. If you were to die this very second, do you know for sure, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you would go to Heaven?

Let me quickly share with you what the Holy Bible reads. It reads “for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” and “for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”. The Bible also reads, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”. And you’re a “whosoever” right? Of course you are; all of us are.

If you would like to receive the gift that God has for you today, say this prayer with your heart and lips out loud.

Dear Lord Jesus, come into my heart. Forgive me of my sin. Wash me and cleanse me. Set me free. Jesus, thank You that You died for me. I believe that You are risen from the dead and that You’re coming back again for me. Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Give me a passion for the lost, a hunger for the things of God and a holy boldness to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. I’m saved; I’m born again, I’m forgiven and I’m on my way to Heaven because I have Jesus in my heart.

P.S. If you prayed this prayer, please let me know so I can rejoice with you. Send me an email at and let me know of the best decision of your life! If you don’t have a Bible and can’t afford one, let me know that too.

I’ve accepted Christ, at 6 actually, fell away and came back so I’m saved. i just want to talk to you as I have some questions and you are one of the very few on YouTube that I actually believe either knows the answers to a few simple (well, some complex) but there’s no hurry. Having good theology and sound doctrine is THE most important thing because my salvation depends on it. I got snared by 2 dangerous cults and honestly, I’m terrified of ALL organized churches as I’ve had such horrible experiences. I pray you’ll email me and sorry if I mislead you but this is the only way I could find to email you. Love in Christ Jesus and God bless you. THANK YOU.

I too have a distrust of large churches. I grew up in a small Baptist church in Louisiana. We moved a lot so I was never able to stay in one church. The church I miss the most is in Somerville, Tenn.

The reason I am giving my two cents worth here is because I know that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are everywhere. In every building, forest and valley. He is under every rock, up every tree and in every living thing.

I don’t believe you have to go to church to know God as he is always with you.

One thing I recently really became to understand is that the devil rules this world. So in a way we live in hell. The devil will twist every truth, enforce every fear and try to convince you he does not exist. Because if the devil doesn’t exist then God doesn’t exist right? That is his trick and a lot of people buy into it. You can see this every day.

The devil only targets believers, he knows he gets everyone else in time. I think that’s why you had those experiences and he enforces your fears.

Take that as a good sign. Not a curse. If the devil is worried about you then you must be doing something right.

      Love to you and yours.

Steve I have heard many arguments for the timing of the rapture, pre, mid, post and all have good points but the scripture you just read is the one that I have never heard a satisfactory answer from a pre or mid believer to convince me of the pre or mid theory. What is your reply to the question where the scripture says clearly “this is the FIRST resurrection ” when talking about those who died during the tribulation? If this is the FIRST resurrection then how could there have been one either 3 1/2 or 7 years earlier at an earlier rapture date? Thanks for your answer. I want to believe you n Pre or mid because I think the scriptures give strong support for it but I cannot get past this verse without hearing a solid answer to this problem.

The first thing I do when I hear someone new is read or listen to their prayer of repentance. I’ve done this for the last few years. For a good reason. I’m not attacking you I want to make this clear right off but I want you to give some really good thought on this. From the first book of the BIBLE to the last book there’s one thing GOD tells us to do before anything and I have noticed 90% of the people leave this very important part out. I’m not attacking any preacher or christian I really want to make that clear before I start getting attacked which is fine with me when I do. But first and for most GOD says to repent. He says the demons believes and trembles. So if we just believe and don’t repent it does us no good. If GOD sees in your heart you are repenting he helps take away the want. The reason I am saying this I see so many people that says they believe but there’s no repentance. So I started reading everyone’s repentance prayer. Then I understood why the people lives their life as they do. Please take this into consideration. You are a good teacher it seems. I liked listening to you. I hate the thought of so many people going to hell because they believed but never repented. Thanks for reading. You don’t have to post this because many will think I’m attacking you and I’m not.

    • Steve
#10 written by Steve 9 months ago

Vickie, I share your concern as well. You are absolutely right. Repentance is the first step. Without acknowledging you’re a sinner, there is no need to receive the Savior. I hope that I have not given any impression of seeker friendly type of salvation.

This is not a prayer to take lightly. It’s entering into an eternal covenant with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Hi Steve, how are you? I stumbled across your channel and would like to talk with you. I grew up knowing that I was a child of God but grew up with teachings that I had always questioned. I had many situations that I had been upset and doubted him and I was ashamed of but what’s funny is even in my doubt of the teachings that caused me to doubt him I’d pray for forgiveness that I didn’t believe in those teachings. So see I never doubted his exsistance I doubted what I was taught of him. I always knew he was with me as he is now and will always be but a few years ago my life took a very strange turn of events. Let’s just say at the beginning I thought all hell and fire and demonic rhetoric but no. I had things coming to me, touching me, I can tell you that I had never heard the book of Enoch, falling Angels never in my life even tho they had been spoke of in scripture I didn’t understand what it meant. Call me crazy but I started to have information that I have never had before. I can’t tell you how I started learning about Enoch or the fallen angels, or even why this was happening to me but I can tell you that when I started reading and learning it was like this information I seemed familiar with, as if I already knew it but in a sense didn’t. I believe that since I was a child and had always asked for forgiveness of the things I knew not to be true that this is why this has happened to me so since I have been truth seeking but the main reason I have is why would I have known deep with in that these teachings were false even as a child. If you would like to talk ever please email me at also these are just very few events that has happened to me. Thank you for everything you Steve. God bless you and stay in the knowledge of the god of truth and love.

The apocryphal writings that were included in the scripture were removed in 1885, so it was around 125 years ago that they were removed. Enoch was never included in the scriptures. There were 14 apocryphal books that include things like 1&2 Maccabees, but does not include 3rd, 4th, and 5th Maccabees. It included Tobit, but did not include the books of Enoch or the book of Adam etc. I do agree that there is something to the book of Enoch since Jude quotes it, but I don’t subscribe to the Ethiopic Geez text. They are considered to be pseudoepigriphal. I do believe the Aramaic fragments found at Qumran are part of a larger Aramaic text that Jude drew from.

Don’t think about it you disabled all comments. You stop other believers from talking about what you’re telling us and how we can talk to one another about our beliefs. That’s wrong. I understand you don’t want to hear from trolls or from people fighting against the truth . But you’re stopping people from communicating through what you say and what they believe . What is worse ? A few hundred trolls making fun of your beliefs or others beliefs ?? Are stopping people who do believe and talking together in their belief ? Food For Thought brother ! God bless.

That’s the reason I disable comments on select videos sometimes. OK?

Thank you Steve, I’m eternally grateful that i stumbled upon your YouTube channel – I’ve been playing it in the car for a little over a week…and today I felt an urgency to accept Jesus Christ into my life- after a lifetime of the dogma of the Catholic Church as my only source of the teachings of bible. I felt a rush of joy as I prayed this prayer- so much so that I cried.

Hi 🙂 in past video you gave the tares parable. I do know you have read the book of enoch but did you know in the 1611 kjv and earlier versions contained earlier versions had additional books removed by man. They are called the apocrypha kjv books. 2 esdras (written by ezra) explains the tares parable and its NOT WHAT THE WORLD THINKS. When they removed the missing books it brought confusion. If you havent read the books removed by man they are very informative and are biblical. Read the last page of the kjv bible. All other versions add on too and remove scripture. Please consider reading if you havent already. God bless you.

I was raised Catholic and was really drawn to the mystical aspect with the saints and angels wearing halos. So exquisite! And of course the Bible was not for the “layperson.” Though I do recall in first grade (public school) the teacher would start the day reading a verse from the Holy Bible! In my late teens started moving away from the church. Time went by I explored New Age, Buddhism, Krishna, worship of the goddess. But somehow something, someone? was always there in the background. I wondered why these paths really lead nowhere! Meditating for 20 years and getting nowhere? That’s what some said. Rigorous rules and exercises. Every now and then though Jesus would step in and do some healing on me–amazing. But still I wavered. About 6 months ago? out of nowhere a desire to get a King James Bible, study it and read it came on me. Also some Internet sites, including yours have helped draw me back in! I think Someone has been praying for me perhaps? I remember the 23rd Psalm as a child and I’ve memorized it. It’s all a mystery but Praise God and His Son for having mercy upon me and sending me the Love! Through all of you.

Steve, the Bible says that John the Baptist baptized Jesus Christ in the River Jordan. Then the skies opened and the voice from Heaven said that Jesus was the Son of God, whom He is well pleased. To be truly saved, I know that sincerely asking Jesus to forgive all the sin I’ve committed and accept Him as my only savior, change my life to sin no more is required (which I have and do every day); is water baptism also required to be born again, or, does Jesus baptize in The Holy Spirit to be born again and to be accepted in his flock?

    • Steve
#33 written by Steve 9 months ago

Ken, Being baptized in water is a “public” display of your NEW BIRTH. It is not a “requirement” to be saved. It it simply following what the Lord told the disciples we should do. Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”…

Thank you for your response. I must confess, lately there has been a peace in my entire being that could only have come from the renewed relationship I have found with Jesus Christ. Thank you again for your guidance back from sin, and into His fellowship.

No Mortal man or woman has the right to remove anything from the Scripters. Steve I don’t go to Church not saying I have never been because I have it’s just that I always feel like I am being Judged by the people there and it makes me feel uncomfortable. I do believe in God and Jesus and the Holly Spirit and I pray all the time there have been times in my life that I know God has been there for me I just know he was and I have seen things happen to my Friends that could have killed them and they would say dang that was luck and I would say to them no that was God watching over you. I’ve watched some of your videos about the Book of Enoch. I’ve read Enoch and I agree that it is biblical and should not have been removed. What do you think of the Books of Adam and Eve? I’ve read them and I believe they are also biblical. They nicely fill in all of those holes and answered virtually all of my questions about the Fall, without contradicting “canonized” scripture.
It is a red flag when I hear people say “don’t read this”…they are basically insulting our intelligence and discernment by forbidding us to even look at something and judge the contents for ourselves. They are telling us we are too weak to resist Satan’s charms. What about the beam in their own eyes? They have the spirit of religiousness and pride blinding them.

I’ve been an on fire Christian that was shut down by church leaders, stonewalled from entering the ministry, and even discouraged from going into ministry by a pastor asking me intently (word for word) “Jon…what would you do?” My heart fell on the floor out of my body it felt like, I was so discouraged.

I have felt that I have fallen way away from God, God’s people, and completely burned out. I have quit the worship team and realize that I haven’t read the bible in years.

I don’t want to be one of those Christians that get hurt by people and never run back to Him, but it seems that I am well on my way.

I have prayed this prayer twice, out loud. I want to start over again, without the filters of fear, discouragement, and manipulation that pastors and church leaders have used against me for the last 20 years.

I just want to be free in Jesus. Is that so hard? It shouldn’t be at all. I will only trust in Jesus from now on.

      Hi Jon,

You are NOT alone. There are TOO many people like you now. The “church” are a collection of REAL saints from all over the world. They are not like many denominations in America. They suffer for their faith and love each other dearly in Christ. They’re NOT fake, They’re NOT liars. They’re NOT playing a game. They’re bearing fruit for God’s glory as they TRUST In Him completely! They are the real “born again” believers and “trusters in Christ!” Keep your eyes on Him Jon and ask Him to lead you to other true saints. We are in the last days and we must not be surprised by the apostasy all around us. He PROMISED that He will never leave you! The Apostle Paul was left alone at the end of his life too…
